Choosing the Right Power Supply When selecting a power supply, it's crucial to ensure that the working voltage of your device matches the output voltage of the power supply. For example, a 24V device should use a 24V power supply.

Additionally, the maximum power usage of your device should not exceed 80% of the power supply's rating. In other words, the power supply's capacity should be at least 1.25 times the power requirement of your device. For instance, a 480W power supply can only be used with a device that consumes up to 480W (600W × 0.8).

For devices that run continuously (7/24), the load should not exceed 40% of the power supply's capacity. For motor-driven devices, the power supply's peak power should be more than twice the motor's power.
